A family-owned company for more than 300 years, the Nolet Group has always been committed to open communications, and that is what this Web site is all about.
As those people familiar with us know, we are extremely proud of our company's success and are intent on ensuring that our brand continues to thrive in an increasingly global market place. At the same time as providing greater opportunities, worldwide business requires brands to maintain a greater presence, including very robust distribution. To ensure that Ketel One can keep competing strongly in this environment, the Nolet Group has decided to create a new company that is owned 50 percent by us and 50 percent by Diageo to expand the distribution of Ketel One products worldwide. We believe that we have found the best possible partner in Diageo, which has phenomenal distribution reach as well as a stellar reputation for protecting and preserving the integrity of family-owned brands while at the same time making them more widely available to discerning consumers worldwide. On February 5, 2008, the two companies announced the creation of this new company, which we expect to be completed by the end of
March. The Nolet Group will continue to be owned and managed by the Nolet family, which will also retain ownership of the Ketel One brand. The entire production of Ketel One will also continue under the management and ownership of the Nolet family at the same historic location in Schiedam, Holland, where they have developed and produced distilled spirits since 1691. Why This is Good for Nolet Group
This new company provides our family business with the sales, marketing and distribution expertise and systems necessary to thrive long-term in an increasingly competitive marketplace, while opening up truly global opportunities for Ketel One. And strengthening our distribution allows The Nolet Group to maintain its independence as a family-owned-and-operated business and build on a distinguished heritage. The tradition and premium quality that the Nolet Group has maintained since 1691 will be the same, but our reach will be enhanced by this venture.
We appreciate that you might have additional questions, so we invite you to submit them here. We will do what we can to answer them on a timely basis.
Sincerely,
The Nolet Family
